The Federal Police’s Computer Crime Unit is constantly looking for IT talent. One of the most in-demand profiles on the market, so blending in isn’t an option. We stood out by focusing on the unusual challenge you face as an IT expert at the police: making life miserable for hackers.
In conversations with the Computer Crime Unit, we discovered their principle of “very annoying policing". They continuously develop strategies designed to frustrate and outsmart criminals.
That insight became the foundation of the campaign. We used the frustration of cybercriminals to demonstrate the real impact of the unit’s work. The louder the criminals swear, the better the cyber experts are doing their job. The insults? Basically compliments.
By building the campaign on insider knowledge, we showed what the job truly involves. Bold videos and striking visuals made the message impossible to ignore, with a clear call to action: join the Computer Crime Unit and make criminals’ lives difficult.
“Together with Fantastic, we developed a creative and daring campaign that not only grabs attention, but perfectly taps into the mindset of IT experts. By using powerful language and relatable frustration, we created a message that sticks and delivers real impact.”
Nathalie Adam, Head of Recruitment Federal Police
A campaign that stands out performs accordingly. While still ongoing, results on Meta and LinkedIn already exceed benchmarks. Previous IT campaigns averaged around 1.50% CTR. This campaign delivers an average of 2.43%, and even 3.01% among experienced profiles.
